About Our Staff
Mary Ho, Executive Director, and her husband John Ho both serve on the All Nations International Leadership Team. Previously, she served for four years in World Vision Taiwan and World Vision Hong Kong, and another four years with the Government Information Office, Taiwan. Born in Taiwan and raised on four continents, Mary has lived in Swaziland, Taiwan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Hong Kong, and the U.S., and has travelled extensively. Because Mary’s life has always been in and about the nations, she is convinced that Christ is the answer for and the hope of the nations.
Dr. Pam Arlund, Director of Training, spent 10 years in Central Asia as a church planter and Bible translator. She shared Jesus with a people group who had never heard of Him before and was considered "impossible" to reach due to the circumstances of where they live. The resulting church plant movement has multiplied to five times its original size and has been led entirely by native local pastors for the past decade. Pam's heart is to train and send church planters to share Jesus with other unreached people groups: those who would otherwise never have any chance in their lives to hear about Him.
Randy Catlett, Director of Pastoral Care, has served with All Nations Kansas City since it was founded in 2000. Randy cares for and pastors church planters around the world. An experienced traveler to over 80 different countries, Randy has a deep understanding of how to care for church planters living in difficult circumstances. As a staff, we are committed to serving our field workers to the best of our ability.
Teri Heft, Finance Director, is a Kansas City native and spent almost five years in YWAM. Now, she helps organize short- and long-term missions through her local church. She also handles much of the accounting for a missions organization in Thailand known as Compasio, which works with Burmese refugees, street children, and abandoned babies. Teri serves on the board for three other missions organizations in addition to her role at All Nations, where she handles much of our accounting and donor services.
Jo-Anne Doughty, Development Liaison, first traveled with All Nations in short-term missions to Southeast Asia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and South Africa. She offered care to our field workers before coming on staff permanently in Kansas City to help recruit more missionaries to the field. Her heart is to be "a servant to the servants of the Lord," and to encourage and support young missionaries as they discern their callings and launch to the field. Prior to coming on board with All Nations, Jo-Anne worked as a real estate agent in the Kansas City area.
Tom Shpakow, Pastoral Care Associate, has been a missionary to India and Cambodia. He is currently serving as a church planter in Kansas City and pastor to our missionaries serving abroad. His vision is to encourage men and women to know God, know their identity in Christ, and walk it out in daily life. Tom frequently travels on-site to our projects around the world to care for those on the front lines of mission. Tom also has a degree in Physical Education and is an athletic coach at Whitefield Academy in Kansas City.
Valerie Schram, Training Coordinator, is from Nebraska and has a degree from Calvary Bible College where she met her husband, Jason. She has been on mission trips to four countries, including a year spent sharing Jesus in a persecuted country. She has previously headed up the missions department of a local church and now helps coordinate All Nations' short-term trips (known as "Global Storm"). Val also assists with the organizing and teaching of our training workshops and speaking engagements around the country.
Joanie Jorash, Children's Training Coordinator, moved overseas for missions with her family at the age of 6, and spent 11 years living in Eastern Europe. As an adult, she has also traveled to Thailand, and Central Asia to pray for those places and to share the gospel. Joanie's desire, in every area of her life, is to be a conduit through which God's love can flow out to others, unto salvation, and the healing of hearts. She wears many different "hats," but primarily serves on All Nations staff as organizer of our children's ministry.
